Six Weeks of Divorce!

Posted on August 31, 2020November 12, 2020 by theflogblog

From what I’ve read, there are two major times during the year when divorce filings increase: January and August. The first week in January is an active time because many couples are spending a lot of quality time together over the holidays, which for the wrong match, could be unbearable. Therefore, all of this extra time together brings to light some deep marital issues.

Another busy time for divorce lawyers is August. Divorce rates increase at the end of the summer. It is believed that more quality time spent together on vacation heightens martial issues. Furthermore, the holidays are still months away so that nostalgia is far from sight. So in light of this, I will be publishing a post every Tuesday for the next 6 weeks dedicated to divorce. My first post goes up tomorrow to kick off September with all of my advice/tips for divorce. I talk about things that you will encounter during the process, my tips, as well as my biggest regrets. So there are many tidbits that you can take and apply towards your own divorce and hopefully you’ll have an even better outcome than I did.

Just to note: I am NOT an attorney so please do your own research before making life-altering decisions. This is merely a guide so you are aware of what’s to come and then ask questions and research on your own to determine what is the best course of action for you.
